Your journey begins in Yunquera, where you’ll park your car and receive a packed lunch to fuel your first hike. If you don’t have a car, we can give you instructions on how to get there with public transport, you can take an Uber or book our door-to-door transfer.
On Day 1, you’ll trek 13 km (approximately 4 hours) through beautiful landscapes to the charming village of Tolox, where you’ll spend the night in a delightful 3-star mountain hotel above the town, enjoying the serene surroundings. This is also where your dinner will be served.
Day 2 you make your way from Tolox to Guaro. Covering about 16 km (5-6 hours), this trek offers breathtaking views and a chance to immerse yourself in nature. You’ll have another packed lunch to keep you energised for the day ahead.
Upon arrival in Guaro, you’ll stay at a cozy bed-and-breakfast located just outside the village, and later enjoy dinner in the local, sleepy village of Guaro.
Day 3 presents a 22 km (7-8 hours) hike via Monda to the beautiful white village of Istan, with breathtaking views and varied terrain.
Your final day takes you on a 12 km (5 hour) scenic route through a gorgeous mountain pass to Ojen, completing an unforgettable mountain experience. Note: the final trail from Istán to Ojén is somewhat challenging, featuring narrow paths, loose rocks, and some light scrambling—it's not suitable for those with vertigo but is manageable with a normal fitness level.
