A Wonderway Adventure trip is a mini hiking holiday, where you and your companions walk independently from one charming whitewashed village to the next through the stunning, unspoiled landscapes of the Sierra de las Nieves.

Before your trip, you'll receive detailed route maps (via an app and ready-to-print guides) and comprehensive information to ensure a seamless and memorable experience.

We will book all accommodation for you. You will stay at small, charming hotels or Bed-and-Breakfast places on the route. See the further details under each route option. 

You will have breakfast and dinner at the place you are staying or nearby. Lunches will be packed for you and you will have your lunch in beautiful nature.

All you need to bring is a small backpack with the bare essentials you need for your short stay.  

Everything else is provided on your Wonder Way trip: Bedding, towels, drinks, meals and snacks.

This means that on our “village-to-village” hikes, you can travel light, bringing only a backpack with a change of clothes and toiletries.

Make sure to wear suitable shoes for hiking.

If you have nowhere else to leave your luggage, there are the following options:

• You can leave your luggage in your parked car. We’ll provide clear instructions on where to park, which is in a quiet and safe area. However, please note that parking is at your own risk.

• For an additional €40 per trip, we offer a convenient luggage service. We’ll pick up your bags, store them securely, and deliver them back to you at the end of your adventure.

If you’re driving, you can park your car at the starting point of the route in the first village of your tour. While the hike concludes at a different location, transportation back to your car is included in the price for your convenience. Alternatively, you can use public transport to reach the start and finish points, or opt for our door-to-door service at an additional cost. For those arriving by air, we also offer transfers to and from Málaga Airport for €75 each way.

At Wonderway Adventures, we carefully design each route to immerse you in the stunning landscapes of the Sierra de las Nieves.

The trails take you through hills and mountains, with daily distances ranging from 6 to 25 km. On some tours the routes are capped at 16 km. The routes are generally not difficult and only require propper footwear. However, you are in the mountains and the routes do go up and down, and you will need a certain fitness level.

You’ll walk independently, either solo or with your own group, using a mobile app or printed maps for guidance.

Prices are based on a minimum of two people.

Prefer to hike alone? Solo adventures can be arranged for an additional fee, with rates listed by each tour.

The hiking season is from middle of September till middle of June. The summer is too hot for hiking.

The Costa del Sol boasts an average of over 320 days of sunshine per year, making it one of the sunniest destinations in Europe. This mild and sunny climate is perfect for outdoor activities year-round, including hiking.

Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) is the nearest and most convenient airport for exploring the stunning Sierra de las Nieves and the surrounding Andalusian region.

As one of Spain’s busiest airports, it offers excellent connectivity to major cities across Europe and beyond, including London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Rome, and Madrid.

With numerous daily flights and a well-organized transport network, reaching Andalusia’s natural beauty and charming white villages is effortless.

While having a car is convenient for exploring the region, it’s not necessary. A car allows you the flexibility to easily park in a quiet area at the beginning of the route. All prices for our hiking tours include a transfer back to your car at the end of the hike.

However, if you prefer not to drive, you can take public transport to the starting and ending points of each hike.

Alternatively, we can arrange a transfer directly from your accommodation or Málaga Airport.

Transfers from anywhere between Málaga and Marbella to the starting point of the hike are available for €75 each way.
